Looking at the impeccable track record of Winton's flagship 'futures' fund there is little doubt he brings above average returns to his investors (316% over 10 years). The fund has a whopping 22bn under management making Winton the largest CTA manager on the planet!

Why then in the face of such a pedigree do most offshore financial advisors still promote Man Investments? There are two key reasons.
Higher minimum entry level. You can access the Man Investments AHL program for 30,000 USD/Euro/GBP whereby Winton Futures is GBP70k or currency equivalent.
Commission. Winton do not pay commission - Man does.
Ordinarily speaking to buy Winton directly the minimum subscription is USD1m however, If you were to use a Personal Portfolio Bond (PPB) it is possible to buy on aggregate for the above mentioned amount, or significantly less using one of the many feeder funds.
